Thermal Imaging
Cameras detect elevated body temperatures.
A Tried and Tested Solution for Multiple Temperature Measuring
Dahua have developed a new highly accurate thermal body temperature measurement camera with bespoke chipset linked to a black body temperature reference module that continually measures the ambient temperature of the area adjacent to the camera and black body. The Accuracy 5000 is designed to measure temperatures in up to 30 people simultaneously to an accuracy of 0.3 degrees, and is designed for use in hospitals, airports, education establishments, ports amongst others.
The thermal camera is linked to an Artificial Intelligence (AI) network recorded with 31-day recording capacity, which allows users to interrogate the access control data for their site/s, which could be vital in keeping Staff, Client and the public safe. The major advantage of the 5000 Series solution is that the solution is NON CONTACT, and that the technology could be key in helping identify individuals with a fever, whilst keeping staff tasked with checking temperatures at a safe distance.

South West Care Exhibition
We exhibited the accuracy of the system at the South West Care Exhibition at the Westpoint arena in Exeter in March 2020 at the early stages of the Covid-19, where the local Devon Ambulance staff were able to easily measure the temperature of all attendees to protect against the spread of the Coronavirus. The solution was successful in warning 3 attendees that their temperature was abnormally high, and they left the show to self-isolate at home.
Testing of system by EDF
Two ‘live’ demonstrations, where tests were carried out by medical officers on 50 volunteer EDF staff, showed that the 0.301 degrees Celsius temperature measuring average of the 5000 Series tests, was the same as the test results achieved using medical equipment in the ears of volunteers
